This is what I'm working on this week. It's getting heavy, and awkward to get the correct angles to solder without leaning o to a piece of glass that already on there. But I'm not ready to call it done yet. We are having some great weather this weekend in Duluth so I'm working outside to foil and solder. I hope everyone else is enjoying it as much as I am!

Couple more antler pieces completed this week, and possibly have some more antlers being given to me to continue glassing them! I will get them added to the store soon!

Having some fun with textured glass this week. Finished up a daffodil with some yellow that I just love! It's added to the site for sale. I finished foiled some blue and green glass for another antler piece and I'm hoping for some nice weather to solder outside and get it finished.

A customer's cat was requested, with strawberries! I keep hearing about dome heatwave but Lake Superior is keeping that away from my house. I hope everyone else is doing ok and staying comfortable!

Summerfest was a miss. Mainly, it was just too windy for dangly glass! Couldn't hang anything, and the tent wouldn't stay still. After a few pieces shattered, I had to 0ack it up and head home. Plenty of product ready for next time! I'm working on a commissioned pieces for a Minnesota Timberwolves fan. And preparing for leaves and flowers to add to some new antlers. Should be a beautiful day to solder outside after my day job!

Last minute push before Summerfest on Saturday! The weather looks pretty crappy, but hopefully some people are willing to risk a few clouds and wind.

Another kitty commission! Someday, I might even get around to my own pets. I have a fair in a week, but I am struggling to finish some things. I look forward so much to soldering outside in the summer, but the wildfire smoke is hitting Duluth pretty hard this year. I'm still so excited for Summerfest! This will ne my first time at this event. It looks like it will be fun! Lots of food, lots of booths, a place to pet goats?!?! Those are all my favorite things! I hope to see lots of people at Lincoln Park Summerfest on June 14th!

I hope everyone is having a good week! I drove to the glass store on Saturday to find some fun new glass and the were closed for a long weekend. They earned it, of course, but that slowed my commission work down a bit. Instead, I raided my own stash and dud my version Edvard Munch's "The Scream" in a 5x7 frame. I also have a dozen more Minnesota magnets cut and ready to foil in preparation for Summerfest on June 14th here in Duluth.

Finally got this delivered to the recipient! This was a very fun commissioned piece to make and I'm happy to report the household it went to, loved it. Finished up a lantern yesterday, and working on a couple other little pieces to add to the shop soon. 1 month to Summerfest, and I hope a lot of people come visit my booth. Wear sunscreen out there!

Today is SUMMER in Duluth, MN. We made it guys! I have a long weekend to get some glass done, been getting questions about plant stakes, so it's time to buckle down and get some butterflys and snails made. Any other fun ideas I should try? Excited for Lincoln Park Summerfest in June! I hope lots of people make it out to see some great stuff from the Duluth area.

Emptied out my windows, priced and packed everything for Nessie's Craft fair at the Loch Cafe and Games here in Duluth (April 19th). Also worked on some fun Parasaurolophus pieces over the weekend.

Heard the news of Jim Brandenburg's passing, a big deal local photographer. This is my interpretation of one of his most famous works, "Brother Wolf". I dropped off a batch of magnets at a local grocery store this week, they don't sell fast there, but it's a repeat order and I'm happy with that! On April 19th, I'll have a table at The Loch Cafe and Games here in Duluth. Should be a great time! It's a great place to hang out.

This week, I've added a couple new pieces, including a fun Medusa. I also busted out some more Minnesota magnets. They are always a good "in person" seller. I have a small craft fair coming up on April 19th at The Loch Cafe and Games here in Duluth. I've had a table there once before and it draws in a really fun group of vendors! Have a great week!

This weekend I made a piece to be auctioned off for Citter Harbor. They are a great organization that does a lot for local animals. They focus on capturing, altering, and releasing stray cats. If anyone is in Duluth/Superior on March 30th, this should be a fun event! I also got a booth for the upcoming Lincoln Park Summerfest in June. More details to come!

Hello! My name is Haley and I live in Duluth, MN. I learned the basics of stained glass in a semester in high school, and then immediately dropped it for 20 years. In April of 2022, I was getting pretty into my own depression and decided I needed medication, and a hobby. Enter Fluoxetine and stained glass! I have a full time office job, and spend most of all my weekend time in my office/workroom/studio, working on glass. I even found a way to do a bit of it at my "real" job.
